SYNOPSIS:
Stacey finds herself locked in the lobby – or vestibule – of her turn-of-the-century apartment building. When Mildred shows up, Stacey grabs the opportunity for help, but Mildred seems intent on creating her own  religion, and wants Stacey to be her first disciple.

STACEY:Hello? Wait! Are you there?
Beat
MILDRED:Hello?
STACEY: Hello, yes, I’m here.
Beat
MILDRED: Is someone there?
STACEY: Yes. I’m here.
MILDRED: I can’t hear you very well.
STACEY: I’m locked in. Can you help?
Pause
MILDRED: Hello?
STACEY: Yes, HELLO! I’m HERE!
MILDRED: Aren’t you going to open the door?
STACEY: I can’t.
Beat
MILDRED: (Pedantically) Can you open the door?
STACEY: No!
MILDRED: That’s very rude, you know.
