SYNOPSIS:
Stuck in a recording studio together, sound technicians Jeff and Eddie tussle over the correct version of their latest voice-over project. In a job where listening is essential, Eddie has yet to listen to the facts about his lack of promotion.
CHARACTER:
Eddie:Recording studio technician. Early 50s, overweight. Believes that he is a good guy, and is in denial about himself.
Jeff: Producer. Late 40s. Edgey. Doesn’t really like working with Benny, but suppresses that dislike for the sake of an amicable working environment.

EDDIE: This take is fine. I told you.
JEFF: Can’t hurt to hear the second take. We can play them–
EDDIE: I’m telling you, this one is perfect.
JEFF: I’d still like to hear it.
EDDIE: I’m just the sound guy.
JEFF: (Long-suffering) Eddie, pass me the disc.
EDDIE: I was telling a story, Jeff.
JEFF: I can work and listen.
EDDIE: You get all focused.
JEFF: With work? God forbid.
EDDIE: Didn’t you like the story?
JEFF:(Distracted)Sure, sure.
