I am currently working with a group of students from Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis HS, courtesy of Roundabout Theatre Company. We are working to create an immersive piece of theatre, based on the environment. It is a really exciting project and the students are really motivated. The piece will include a gameshow about fracking, a scary piece about overpopulation and the characters’ need to sterilize people, and a moving piece about an oil explosion in Ecuador. Then the audience move out into the garden, where they will encounter an albatross covered in plastic bottles, reciting poetry! I am thrilled to be working with Ms. DeGregorio and her incredible students.
